Horticultural Maintenance Specialist Interior Focus
Purpose Statement
Hoffman Design Group’s purpose is to leave people and their environments in a better place than we found them.
Why This Role Matters
Interior environments are living systems. Without thoughtful care and observation, those systems slowly decline.
As a Horticulture Mant, you are a trusted caretaker of the environments our clients experience every day. Your work ensures plants remain healthy, spaces feel alive, and the environments we create continue to perform as intended.
The work may happen quietly and behind the scenes, but it matters deeply. The health of these environments and the experience people have within them depend on your care.
Core Responsibilities
Steward Plant Health
Provide expert care for all interior plants through observation, watering, pruning, cleaning, fertilization, and appropriate replacement recommendations.
Manage Your Route with Ownership
Plan and execute service routes efficiently while maintaining consistent care standards across all assigned client environments.
Communicate Clearly and Professionally
Maintain clear communication with clients and the Interior Operations Lead regarding plant performance, service needs, and site conditions.
Represent the HDG Standard
Act in ways that reflect the professionalism, care, and attention to detail that define Hoffman Design Group.
Daily Freedom & Responsibility
This role operates on trust, not micromanagement. Interior Living Systems Specialists are empowered to make thoughtful decisions in the field, solve problems in real time, and communicate when support is needed.
Freedom to organize the work. Responsibility for the results.
Operational Structure
Horticulture Maintenance Specialists operate within the service system coordinated by the Interior Service Lead. This structure ensures routes remain organized, service requests are addressed quickly, and client environments receive consistent care.
